Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Material Handler to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our freight handling processes within a high-volume warehouse setting.
Responsibilities
- Operate a sit-down forklift to unload and load trucks efficiently.
- Move trailers to designated areas as needed.
- Cross-train in receiving and shipping procedures.
- Use RF scanner and computer systems to update inventory records accurately.
- Handle paperwork meticulously and prepare shipments for dispatch.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in operating a sit-down forklift.
- Strong computer skills for inventory management and record-keeping.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is advantageous.
- Familiarity with RF scanner operations is a plus.

Work Environment
The position is based in a distribution center with three shifts, requiring flexibility with hours that may vary according to business needs. You will work in a smaller warehouse with two docks, managing a high volume of freight traffic.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Boardman, Ohio.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
