About This Role
The B2B Inside Sales Representative – West Territory is responsible for managing, growing, and retaining wholesale dealer relationships. This role blends account management, outbound sales, inbound support, and business development, while maintaining accurate records and sales activity within our systems.
The ideal candidate is a methodical, relationship-focused salesperson who understands musical instrument products and thrives on building a consistent, repeat wholesale customer base.
This is a full-time, on-site position in La Vergne, TN.
Responsibilities
Account Management & Relationship Building
- Manage a portfolio of wholesale dealer accounts using Copper CRM to track relationships, activity, and opportunities.
- Build long-term dealer relationships through consistent communication, follow-up, and product knowledge.
- Reactivate dormant or low-activity accounts through targeted outreach and inventory recommendations.
Sales & Business Development
- Drive outbound sales via phone and email, logging activity and outcomes in Copper CRM.
- Convert inbound inquiries into active, repeat wholesale customers.
- Upsell and cross-sell available inventory based on dealer needs, buying patterns, and margin goals.
- Grow the assigned territory by onboarding new wholesale dealers.
Order Support & Systems Usage
- Enter, review, and manage orders within the company ERP system, ensuring accuracy in pricing, availability, and fulfillment details.
- Coordinate closely with fulfillment and operations teams using ERP data to support on-time and accurate deliveries.
- Use Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets) to manage communication, scheduling, reporting, and internal collaboration.
Territory & Performance Management
- Track territory performance against revenue, account activity, order frequency, margin, and retention goals.
- Maintain clean, organized account records and sales documentation across CRM and ERP systems.
- Provide feedback on dealer needs, market trends, and inventory demand to support purchasing and operations planning.
Qualifications
- Experience in B2B inside sales and account management, including managing and growing a repeat-business customer base.
- Working knowledge of guitars, basses, and musical instrument products.
- Experience using CRM systems (Copper preferred) and ERP/order management systems.
- Strong phone, email, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Methodical, organized, and detail-oriented approach, including ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work
