Process Engineer | East Lansing, MI
Salary Range: $73,000 - $107,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Optimize existing manufacturing processes for efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
- Design, develop, and implement new manufacturing processes and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to process performance and product quality.
- Monitor process performance using statistical process control (SPC) and other analytical tools.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and PFDs.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new product introductions and process transfers.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- 2+ years of hands-on process engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, SPC).
- Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and implement effective process solutions.
- Familiarity with process control systems (DCS/PLC) and process simulation software.
Bonus Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
- Proficiency with advanced simulation or data analysis software (e.g., Aspen HYSYS, Python, R, JMP)
- Experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment (e.g., pharmaceutical, medical device, aerospace)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
