Blazer Jobs is hiring a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to support a school district in Harvey, Louisiana. This full-time position is available to both local clinicians seeking long-term, school-year placements and travel clinicians interested in flexible, high-paying assignments.
Position Overview:
As an SLP, youll provide therapy services to K12 students, addressing a wide range of speech, language, and communication needs. You will collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to conduct assessments, develop and implement IEPs, and monitor student progress.

2. Travel Path (W-2 with Perks or 1099):

Weekly gross: $1,900$2,400, including tax-free stipends if eligible

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech-language therapy to K12 students in individual and group settings

Conduct speech-language evaluations, interpret results, and participate in eligibility meetings

Develop, implement, and manage IEPs in compliance with Louisiana state guidelines

Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to ensure student success
-
Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports
Requirements:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

Active Louisiana SLP License (or eligibility to obtain)

ASHA CCC-SLP preferred; Clinical Fellows (CFs) will be considered

Previous school-based or pediatric experience is preferred

Must pass background and fingerprint checks
