Must have completed Behavior Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1+ years Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make a meaningful impact by supporting preschool and transitional kindergarten students as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in a rewarding contract role near Sunnyvale, CA. In this position, you'll provide essential behavioral support services within an educational environment, working under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). As part of a dedicated team, you'll focus on fostering positive learning experiences and promoting student growth.
Key Qualifications:
- Active, current RBT credential required
- Experience working with preschool or transitional kindergarten (TK) age students preferred
- Fully credentialed candidates only
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to implement behavior intervention plans consistently
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
- Willingness to complete both district and agency onboarding processes, including fingerprinting
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct, one-on-one or small-group behavioral interventions to young students
- Collect and record data on student behavior and progress
- Collaborate with educational staff and families to support individual student needs
- Participate in meetings, team planning, and training opportunities as required
- Ensure all interventions align with BCBA guidance and follow best practices in applied behavior analysis
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
