Job Description
Candidates will engage in MIG welding on mild steel and stainless steel to produce exhaust systems for various industries including power generation, oil & gas, marine, locomotive, construction, and off-road markets. Tack welding and assembling exhausts will also be part of the duties, although primarily the work will involve a mix of custom and production style MIG welding. Proficiency in reading blueprints and weld symbols is crucial.
Responsibilities
- Perform MIG welding on mild and stainless steel.
- Tack weld and assemble exhaust systems.
- Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols.
- Assist with fabrication tasks such as operating a brake press, shear, and roller.
- Adapt to various tasks throughout the shop to enhance learning and growth.
Essential Skills
- Proficient in MIG welding.
- Ability to read blueprints and weld symbols.
- Experience with metal fabrication.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience with plasma cutting and TIG welding.
- Familiarity with wire feed techniques.
- Skill in using tape measures and brake presses.
- Prior welding experience on the farm, at school, or on the job.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $33.00/hr.
