Job DescriptionMedical Temporaries, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced ***Early Intervention Case Manager***.

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience required in early intervention working with infants/children with developmental delays.

This is a FULL TIME/LONG TERM TEMPORARY position requiring availability between the hours of 8:30AM-5:00PM, Monday through Friday, located in Norfolk, VA.
Responsibilities:A Day in the life of an Early Intervention Case Manager:
As an Early Intervention Case Manager you will provide service coordination/case management services to children, birth to three years of age, with developmental delays, diagnosed conditions or atypical developmental & their families by assessing, planning, linking, monitoring, and advocating for them in response to their changing needs. Completes clinical documentation in accordance with agency and regulatory guidelines.
Requirements for the Early Intervention Case Manager:

  • Required: 2+ years experience required in early intervention working with infants/children with developmental delays
  • Required: Bachelor's degree in human services or a related field
  • Required: Must be certified or certifiable in in Basic First Aid and CPR
  • Required: Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record as reported by the Department of Motor Vehicles
  • Required: Ability to pass Background Check and Drug Screen
  • Required: Must be reliable and a quick learner and have ability to multi-task with accuracy in a very busy environment
  • Required: Excellent written and verbal communication skills


Preferred Qualifications for the Early Intervention Case Manager:

  • Preferred: Medicaid billing requirements
  • Preferred: Awareness of the rights and needs of persons with developmental disabilities and their families
  • Preferred: Case management principles and methods
  • Preferred: Typical child developmental milestones, developmental disabilities and the capacity to understand complex medical conditions.
