PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Responsible for registering patients into dental software and HealthPro systems for appointment scheduling.
· Responsible for determining the status of the patient within the facility (i.e. existing patients etc.)
· Verify the patient's coverage or payment eligibility status.
· Answering phone and take messages daily.
· Responsible for confirming appointments before the scheduled visit.
· Generating and mailing dental claims, referrals, etc.
· Other duties will include special projects as assigned by the supervisor.
· Assist with obtaining prior authorizations.
