Location: Irvine, CA 92618
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift:
Day 5x8-Hour (08:30 – 17:00), Monday–Friday (no weekends, no call; delayed procedures may require staying late – rare)
Experience:
• Minimum 3 years experience required (5 years preferred) in anatomic pathology laboratory settings
• Perform ROSE for Thyroid FNAs, including real-time specimen evaluation and preliminary diagnosis
• Experience with EBUS and EUS procedures, assisting with on-site procedures and specimen handling
• Skilled in specimen collection, preparation, smear making, staining, and specimen labeling/identification
• Perform cytology diagnostics on ascitic fluid, esophageal, gastric, spinal, bronchial, and urine samples
• Work across inpatient and outpatient lab environments, including ultrasound and OR settings
• Conduct preliminary diagnostic evaluations and support multidisciplinary diagnostic workflows
License: CA Department of Public Health Cytotechnologist License (in hand at submission)
Certification: ASCP-CT (required)
