About the Role
As a Travel Nurse RN, you will provide acute rehabilitation nursing services primarily during night shifts. Your expertise will be crucial in managing patients with neurological, orthopedic, and cerebrovascular conditions. This is a 13-week travel assignment that requires relevant experience and an active nursing license.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Med Surg unit.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, providing timely interventions.
- Document patient care and progress accurately.
- Support patients and their families through education and compassion.
What We’re Looking For
Requirements:
- Active VA / Compact License
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in relevant specialty
- Previous travel experience is a must
- BLS certification
- Cerner experience is highly preferred
- CRRN certification is a plus
Working Conditions
- Shift: Nights (7 PM - 7:30 AM), 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, every other weekend
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Unit specializes in Neuro and rehab care with a focus on CVA, Spine, and Ortho patients.
- Locals within 60 miles are not accepted.
