Now Hiring: Maintenance Technician THIRD SHIFT
Location: Fresno, CA
Job Purpose
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment. This role supports plant operations through preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance while ensuring safety, efficiency, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production and facility equipment
- Perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs
- Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance on machinery and facilities
- Diagnose equipment issues, replace or repair parts, and test functionality
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders
- Weld, fabricate, and repair machinery as needed
- Maintain accurate work orders and inventory within the CMMS system
- Support production needs and new equipment installations
- Communicate effectively during shift changes
- Follow safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment
- Assist with training and development of junior maintenance staff
- Support cost reduction through Total Preventive Maintenance methods
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Completion of a craft apprenticeship (Millwright or similar) or equivalent experience
- 4+ years of manufacturing maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and industrial systems
- PLC programming experience required
- Associate’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Maintenance preferred
Physical Requirements
- Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, and climbing throughout shift
- Ability to lift and move items over 50 lbs
- Strong visual and depth perception required
Schedule
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Rotating shifts and weekends as needed
