This full-time Speech-Language Pathology opportunity serves a K-12 caseload in a school setting with travel to Portsmouth, VA. The position offers a mix of direct and indirect clinical services within a dynamic educational environment, ideal for SLPs who enjoy working with pediatric clients across developmental stages.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language therapy to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student evaluations and progress
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and federal guidelines for school-based therapy
Qualifications:
- Valid Virginia Speech-Language Pathology license (VA SLP license)
- Experience in school-based settings preferred; Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome
- Strong skills in pediatric SLP services and familiarity with educational protocols
- Ability to manage full caseload efficiently with excellent organizational skills
