Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Solderer to join our team and contribute to the assembly of circuit boards. You will be responsible for placing components onto boards using computer schematics, ensuring correct polarity, and hand soldering both surface mount and through-hole parts. Your attention to detail will be crucial as you use a microscope to inspect and ensure the cleanliness and integrity of solder joints.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble circuit boards by placing components accurately using schematics.
  • Verify the correct polarity of all components before soldering.
  • Hand solder surface mount and through-hole parts using a microscope.
  • Inspect solder joints to ensure they are not bridged and maintain cleanliness and quality.

Essential Skills

  • At least 6 months of experience in circuit board soldering.
  • Proficiency in hand soldering, capable of passing a soldering test.
  • Knowledge of IPC-610 and J-Standard.
  • Experience in circuit board repair and electronic assembly.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Ability to read electronic schematics and blueprints, with a strong understanding of polarity.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Burnsville, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
