Our organization is looking for a dedicated full-time Psychiatrist to become a part of our team in Houston, TX. The Psychiatrist will conduct psychiatric assessments, provide treatment for individuals facing personality issues, emotional challenges, or mental health disorders. This role involves prescribing medications as necessary for mental health treatment and suggesting suitable therapies in line with established professional standards. Additionally, the Psychiatrist will supervise the treatment provided by medical students and psychiatry residents, guiding them through the typical progression of mental illnesses during therapy.
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Qualifications:

U.S. Citizenship is required (*non-citizen candidates may be considered*)

A full and unrestricted medical license from any U.S. state

Board Certification or Board Eligibility is preferred

Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and evidence-based psychiatric practices is preferred

Must demonstrate high motivation, a team-oriented approach, and a commitment to the health and well-being of our Veterans
We Offer:

Annual salary ranging from $260,000 to $280,000

Continuing Medical Education (CME): $1,000 yearly stipend for reimbursement; 5 days of paid CME leave
