Location: Waconia, Minnesota

Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Echo Technician / Cardiac Sonographer to support an outpatient cardiology clinic. The clinician will perform comprehensive adult echocardiography studies and may float to nearby facilities within scope of practice to meet operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform adult transthoracic echocardiograms, including advanced diagnostic imaging

• Conduct and interpret:

  • 2D and 3D Echocardiography

  • Color Doppler

  • M-Mode

  • Bubble Studies

  • Imaging with contrast agents

  • Right Ventricular Inflow/Outflow Tract (RVIT/RVOT) studies

  • Routine and Treadmill Stress Echocardiograms

• Accurately document exams and findings using Epic (Excellian)

• Maintain compliance with clinical protocols and quality standards

• Collaborate with cardiologists and clinic staff to ensure efficient patient flow

• Float to other clinic locations as needed within scope

Required Experience

• Minimum 2 years of recent Adult Echo experience

• Experience with advanced echo techniques listed above

• Epic EMR experience required

Certifications & Licensure

Required:

• ARDMS

• BLS

Pending Licenses: Accepted

Scheduling & Assignment Details

• No weekend requirements

• No on-call requirements

• Locals accepted

• First-time travelers accepted

• RTO: Ideally no more than 5 days

• Client may cancel up to 3 shifts during the contract without penalty
