CNC Machinist II
Location: Torrance, CA
Position Type: Full-Time
Position Summary
We're hiring a skilled CNC Machinist II to support the production of precision components in a dynamic, low-volume manufacturing environment. This role involves setting up and operating advanced CNC equipment to produce complex parts across a range of materials while maintaining tight tolerances and high quality standards.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on machining, problem-solving, and working on a variety of custom or short-run jobs.
What You'll Do
- Set up and operate CNC mills and lathes, including multi-axis equipment
- Produce parts to exact specifications, holding tight tolerances
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical instructions
- Perform first article and in-process inspections
- Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and CMM equipment
- Make tool adjustments and assist with tool maintenance as needed
- Maintain organized work areas and follow 5S and safety practices
- Support team initiatives and assist with additional shop needs when required
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent required; machining certification is a plus
- 3–5+ years of experience in CNC machining
- Experience working with tight-tolerance, precision parts
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, including GD&T
- Working knowledge of G-code and M-code
- Experience with multi-axis machining (5-axis is a strong advantage)

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Clean and well-maintained production environment
- Standing for extended periods throughout the shift
- Occasional lifting up to 40 lbs
- Use of standard PPE including safety glasses and steel-toe footwear
