Bookkeeper – Full Time

Starting Salary: $42,000/year

About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to maintain accurate financial records, support month-end processes, and assist multiple clients with their accounting needs. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers and thrives in a busy environment.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management
- Maintain accurate financial records
- Record transactions and update general ledger entries
Month-End Processes
- Prepare month-end financial statements
- Assist with closing tasks and reporting
Account Reconciliation
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other statements
- Identify and resolve discrepancies
Client Communication
- Provide regular updates to clients
- Explain financial information clearly and professionally
Payroll Support
- Assist with payroll processing and accuracy checks
Qualifications
- 1+ year of bookkeeping or accounting experience (required)
- QuickBooks proficiency (required)
- Experience managing multiple clients is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
