Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Elevator Mechanic. This role is for Certified Elevator Technician and with a New York State Elevator Mechanic License.
Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Lead licensed elevator mechanics with installation, maintenance, repair, and modernization of elevator systems</li>
<li>Use hand and power tools safely and effectively</li>
<li>Help with troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment issues</li>
<li>Follow all safety regulations, OSHA standards, and company procedures</li>
<li>Maintain a clean and organized work environment</li>
<li>Support job site setup, material handling, and equipment preparation</li>
<li>Demonstrate reliability, professionalism, and a willingness to learn</li>
</ul>
Qualifications
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or GED required</li>
<li>5 years of experience as a Elevator Mechanic</li>
<li>Mechanical aptitude and interest in skilled trades</li>
<li>Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in physically demanding environments</li>
<li>Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces</li>
<li>Strong work ethic, punctuality, and positive attitude</li>
<li>Willingness to learn and take direction</li>
<li>Valid driver’s license preferred</li>
