Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Eight Speech-Language Pathologist positions are available in a K-12 school setting located in Pasco County, FL. These contract roles offer full-time hours, engaging with students across all grade levels to provide essential speech and language services that support their educational success and communication development throughout the school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students K-12
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly
- Provide consultative support to teachers and staff regarding strategies to support speech and language development in the classroom
- Maintain detailed records and comply with state and federal regulations
Qualifications:
- Active Florida Speech-Language Pathologist license required
- Experience working within K-12 school settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Commitment to student-centered care and educational success
Position Details:
- Location: Pasco County, FL
- Contract duration: Current school year (CSY)
- Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday through Friday
