Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
\n• Every other weekend requirement
\n• Patient ratios based on acuity
\n• Float to meet needs of facility and department
\n• 2 years of emergency room nursing experience required
\n• Travel experience required - first-time travelers not accepted
\n• South Carolina or Multi State/Compact RN license required
\n• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (American Heart Association only)
\n• Preferred certifications: CPI and TNCC
\n• Epic charting system experience required
\n• Royal blue scrubs required
\n• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
\n• Care for patients of all age groups from neonates to geriatrics
\n• Handle approximately 130 visits per day in 37-room emergency department
\n• Work with interdisciplinary team including physical therapy, respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and unit secretary
\n• May be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November)
\n• Complete non-billable modules averaging 4 hours pre-start

The facility utilizes Epic charting system and provides interdisciplinary support services including specialized trauma care, stroke certification, and STEMI capabilities. The hospital maintains modern emergency equipment and offers free parking for staff members.
