Job SummaryWe are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Print Production Clerk to support the execution of high-volume printing and document services. This position is responsible for managing production workflows, operating print and copy equipment, and ensuring that all output meets quality and customer specifications. The ideal candidate is technically skilled, highly organized, and capable of lifting and moving materials up to 50 pounds.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate digital and color production equipment to complete print jobs accurately and efficiently
- Receive, review, and electronically log incoming customer jobs
- Perform quality checks before, during, and after production runs
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues that affect production, delivery, or output quality
- Perform basic maintenance and cleaning on printing equipment
- Track, log, and store completed jobs as required, including file backups for future reuse
- Maintain logs for production and billing purposes
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding job requirements and expectations
- Work overtime as needed to meet production deadlines
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Experience operating high-volume printers and copiers
- Functional computer skills, including:
- Using a keyboard and mouse
- Sending and receiving emails
- Performing data entry and basic file management (find, open, save documents)
- Familiarity with web browsers (e.g., Internet Explorer) and sending documents to printers
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow routine tasks accurately
- Demonstrated professionalism and maturity in a business setting
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic math proficiency (division, multiplication, percentages)
- Previous experience in a print production or document services environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Reliable and adaptable to changing workload or deadlines
