A nonprofit organization located in Manhattan is seeking an Events Assistant on a temporary-to-perm basis.

The ideal candidate will have several years of administrative and event coordination experience.

Compensation range for this role is $32-37/hr. This role is Mon-Fri onsite with flexibility to work OT.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate leadership meetings. Plan and host workshops, provide day-of-event support including setup, breakdown, organize catering, etc.
  • Process invoices and expenses
  • Assist with onboarding new members
  • Manage projects and correspondence
  • Prepare travel arrangements for staff members

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree highly preferred
  • Minimum 4-5 years of administrative and project management experience
  • Minimum 3 years of travel coordination experience
  • Knowledge of Google Suite
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
