Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Make an impact in the lives of elementary students by providing speech therapy services for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year! This full-time contract opportunity involves supporting a diverse caseload of approximately 45 students with a variety of speech and language needs. Working Monday through Friday, you'll collaborate with educators and families to help students reach their communication goals.
Leveraging your expertise in school-based speech-language services, you'll assess, develop, and implement individualized therapy plans, making a meaningful difference each day. Those who are bilingual in Spanish are especially encouraged to apply, as this skill will be a wonderful asset in supporting a broader range of students and families.
Qualifications:
- Active Colorado SLP license (Certificate of Clinical Competence or Clinical Fellowship accepted)
- Experience with elementary school populations preferred
- Background in developing and implementing IEPs
- Familiarity with school-based documentation requirements
- Bilingual in Spanish is a strong plus
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for elementary students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Deliver direct therapy sessions, both individual and small group
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families on student progress
- Maintain accurate records and submit timely reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Provide consultation to school staff on communication strategies
