We are looking for a qualified commercial Carpenter. Your job will entail working in commercial settings predominantly based in healthcare for which we are looking for an individual who can work with our staff & customers in a professional manner. The ideal candidate will have experience working in the medical environment under hospital guidelines. Working with little supervision while following all health and safety standards of the industry is essential. The goal is to contribute to the expansion of a growing construction company with opportunity for interior advancement.
Responsibilities
- Motivated self-starter able to work in an expedited manner.
- Communicate with supervision/customers in a professional manner.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches to fully understand the complete scope of the project.
- Prepare materials lists for material orders.
- Provide accurate construction documentation for project and employment.
Skills
- Proven experience as a commercial carpenter
- Hands-on experience in working in rough carpentry, metal framing, drywall & ACT installation
- Knowledge of door, frame & hardware installation
- Drywall finishing experience would be a bonus
- Ability to read technical documents and drawings
- Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times
- Strong English-speaking skill is preferred but not required
- Good physical condition and endurance
- High school diploma
Must have minimum of 3-5 years' experience and own transportation.
Wages based on experience, $25 -$30 per hour.
