We are seeking a compassionate and detail‑oriented Medical Assistant to join our busy clinic. This role is essential in delivering efficient, high‑quality patient care while supporting both clinical and front‑office operations in a fast‑paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately collect and document patient demographics and medical histories
- Triage patients based on presenting symptoms and urgency of care needs
- Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and oxygen levels
- Assist with maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date electronic medical records (EMR)
- Perform phlebotomy and other clinical procedures as required
- Provide patient education, instructions, and support
- Schedule appointments and assist with front desk operations as needed
- Verify insurance information and ensure accurate documentation for billing purposes
- Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a fast‑paced clinic or urgent care environment
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and clinical workflows
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
Additional Qualifications
- Medical Assistant Certification, Registration, or Diploma
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Reliable transportation
- Experience with appointment scheduling and patient care coordination
Preferred (Not Required)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish a plus)
- Experience with spirometry testing & phlebotomy
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
Work Environment & Schedule
- Onsite position at a primary care/urgent care clinic
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with potential for overtime
- May require floating to other clinic locations based on operational needs

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orlando, FL.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
