Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Nurse Manager - Labor & Delivery position requiring a minimum of 5 years of OB nursing experience and active MA licensure.
Details
- Labor & Delivery unit in an inpatient hospital setting
- Leadership role partnering with the Director of Obstetrical Nursing to oversee 24/7 unit operations
- Schedule: Days, Monday–Friday, 5x8-hour shifts, 7:00am–4:00pm
- Weekend call coverage required on a variable basis depending on department needs
- No routine on-call requirements outside of weekend coverage
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NRP
- Minimum 5 years of obstetrical nursing experience with demonstrated leadership abilities required
- Inpatient OB certification preferred
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Evidence of continued professional growth and knowledge of current nursing trends and developments required
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Active MA RN license must be in hand for consideration
Additional Information
- Responsible for driving clinical excellence and supporting a collaborative, patient- and staff-centered environment
- Works in partnership with the Director of Obstetrical Nursing to manage 24/7 Labor & Delivery operations
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but will be considered at a reduced travel pay rate
