The Plant Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of manufacturing operations, engineering, and project management. This role ensures efficient and safe production while maintaining high quality, cost control, and on-time delivery. The Plant Manager will manage a multidisciplinary team including production, maintenance, engineering, and project management to deliver custom automation systems that meet or exceed customer expectations.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on, strategic leader with a deep understanding of custom equipment manufacturing and the ability to coordinate complex, cross-functional operations in a growing business.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership. Oversee all day-to-day plant operations including fabrication, assembly, testing, and delivery of Bellco Feeders systems.
- Develop and execute production schedules, ensuring alignment with engineering and project management timelines.
- Establish performance goals for production, quality, delivery, cost, and safety, track progress and drive accountability
- Quality & Continuous Improvement. Oversee debugging, troubleshooting, and testing to ensure top performance and customer satisfaction. Implement structured quality control processes and documentation for all stages of production.
- Lead daily and weekly operations meetings to coordinate priorities across production, engineering, and project teams.
- Strategic & Cross-Functional Leadership. Collaborate with executive leadership on operational strategy, capital planning, and capacity.
- Engineering & Project Management Oversight. Direct and manage the Engineering and Project Management departments, ensuring close alignment between design, manufacturing, and delivery.
- Support the engineering team in developing practical, manufacturable designs that balance innovation, performance, and efficiency.
- Serve as a bridge between leadership and the operations floor, ensuring company vision translates into actionable execution.
- Work with project managers to ensure that customer projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to Bellco’s quality standards.
- Help PM team with design reviews, build planning sessions, and cross-department collaboration to resolve technical or scheduling challenges.

Experience:
- Plant management: 7 years (Preferred)
