Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to design, develop, and implement control systems for our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation, including expertise in HMI, PLC programming, and control system design, to enhance the efficiency and reliability of our operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop control systems for manufacturing equipment and processes
  • Program and troubleshoot PLCs to ensure optimal performance
  • Implement HMI systems for user-friendly interface and monitoring
  • Conduct tests and evaluations of control systems to ensure functionality and safety
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate control solutions into existing systems
  • Provide technical support and training to maintenance personnel and operators
  • Document control system designs and changes for compliance and future reference

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Controls Engineer or similar role
  • Strong knowledge of HMI and PLC programming
  • Familiarity with control system design and implementation
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
