Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to design, develop, and implement control systems for our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automation, including expertise in HMI, PLC programming, and control system design, to enhance the efficiency and reliability of our operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop control systems for manufacturing equipment and processes
- Program and troubleshoot PLCs to ensure optimal performance
- Implement HMI systems for user-friendly interface and monitoring
- Conduct tests and evaluations of control systems to ensure functionality and safety
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate control solutions into existing systems
- Provide technical support and training to maintenance personnel and operators
- Document control system designs and changes for compliance and future reference
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Controls Engineer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of HMI and PLC programming
- Familiarity with control system design and implementation
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
