Our client, a fast-growing company in the home improvement and construction industry, is expanding their team and seeking an Order Entry Representative. Job Description:
The Order Entry Representative will support operational efficiency by accurately entering and maintaining customer orders. This role involves close coordination with field teams, vendors, and internal departments to ensure accurate, timely processing of cabinetry and related product orders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Input new work orders and customer selections into internal systems
- Track and update delivery and installation schedules
- Ensure purchase orders reflect correct pricing based on client contracts
- Collaborate with field teams to revise orders based on job site measurements
- Communicate with clients to clarify missing or incomplete information
- Process change requests and maintain organized records
- Maintain accuracy across email and order tracking systems
- Perform administrative duties to support order workflow as needed
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of experience in customer service, order entry, or administrative roles
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- Background in construction, home improvement, or cabinet production a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet tight deadlines
- Customer-first approach and a problem-solving mindset
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus
- Willingness to be trained on company software systems
Additional Details:
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (30-minute lunch)
- Start Date: Flexible, ideally by June 23
- Interview Process: 1 virtual interview with HR + 1 onsite interview with hiring manager
- Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire
