Position Details
Location: Belmont, Massachusetts
Schedule: Full-Time
Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 8:25 AM – 3:00 PM
Wednesday: 8:25 AM – 1:45 PM
School: 1 Elementary School Assignment
Caseload Details
• K–3 Moderate Needs Classroom
• Approximately 10–12 students
• Special education teacher role with direct instructional responsibilities
Responsibilities
• Provide specialized instruction aligned with Individualized Education Programs
• Support academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development
• Adapt curriculum to meet diverse learning needs
• Collaborate with general education staff, related service providers, and families
• Maintain documentation and progress monitoring for student goals
• Foster a structured and supportive classroom environment
Qualifications
• Active Massachusetts Special Education Teacher certification required
• Experience in elementary or moderate needs settings preferred
• Strong classroom management and collaboration skills
• Passion for supporting early learners with diverse needs
