A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Nurse with Medical-Surgical and Telemetry experience. This role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced hospital environment supporting patient care on medical-surgical units with occasional telemetry duties. The assignment runs for approximately 13 weeks and is perfect for a nurse seeking professional growth through travel nursing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care on medical-surgical and telemetry units, ensuring high-quality and compassionate care.
• Monitor patient telemetry and respond to changes in condition promptly.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement effective care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation using Cerner electronic medical records.
• Adhere to hospital policies and state regulations including BLS certification requirements.
• Float between Med Surg and Telemetry units as needed with a 1:6 patient ratio.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience in Medical-Surgical nursing.
• At least 1 year of recent travel nursing experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Experience with telemetry patient care is a must.
• Proficiency with Cerner electronic health records highly required.

Schedule:

• Day shifts, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) rotations
