Job Description
TVG-Medulla’s Operational Excellence division is seeking a Business Process Improvement Specialist to provide technical, analytical, and change management support for process improvement initiatives. This role is for a self-starter who enjoys a fast-pace and dynamic work. It will require experience in analyzing data to craft meaningful and actionable recommendations for improvement. The role will toggle between synthesizing higher level process bottlenecks with leadership, to creating meaningful automation to tackle detailed activities and processes done manually today. The role will own operationalizing these recommendations through use of tools such as Python and ensuring successful implementation/adoption. They will synthesize KPI data, both to establish benchmarks and analyze progress/trends to justify/validate ROI on operational improvements.
Major Responsibilities:
- Synthesize and support Level 1 and 2 process redesign and concurrently anticipate/create automation of level 4 and 5 processes to support the larger roadmap.
- Establish metrics to measure change management success, track engagement, gather feedback, and continuously improve communications, training, and stakeholder engagement strategies.
- Implement minor & robust change management strategies tailored to multi-site healthcare implementation projects, ensuring seamless organizational adoption.
- Lead the creation and execution of tailored training programs, including virtual and in-person sessions, video modules, and instructional materials, to support end-user adoption and organizational readiness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of change initiatives across departments.
- Track and analyze change adoption metrics, gathering feedback to improve change strategies and ensure business objectives are met.
- Analyze vast amounts of information to drive data-backed decisions/workstreams and create forward looking demand/capacity models.
- Understand how to balance short-term and long-term tradeoffs.
- Between initiatives, improve clinic-site adoption of existing processes and VSM current state to measure operational resiliency/opportunities.
Qualifications
Minimum Job Requirements
- Proficient skills in spreadsheet, data management, coding – particularly Python, MS Excel, VBA, SQL
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field
- At least 2 years of experience in supporting transformational efforts that have resulted in sustained, on-going process improvement.
- Demonstrated project management, process redesign, and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of business process mapping; application of these principles to solving complex business problems.
- Preferences include Black Belt or Six Sigma certifications
