Position Overview
The Early Childhood Clinical Lead is a part-time leadership role responsible for ensuring high-quality implementation and fidelity of Child First programs at Paragon Behavioral Health Connections. This position provides clinical supervision, oversees adherence to evidence-based practice (EBP) standards, and drives organizational outcomes by meeting established benchmarks and key performance indicators (KPIs).
The Clinical Lead will serve as a champion of early childhood mental health, providing thought leadership and coaching to clinical teams while ensuring that services remain aligned with Child First fidelity standards. This position reports directly to the Director of Child and Family Services.
Key Responsibilities
Program Fidelity & Standards
- Ensure strict adherence to Child First fidelity standards and evidence-based protocols.
- Monitor program implementation and outcomes to ensure compliance with state, federal, and funder requirements.
- Conduct regular fidelity reviews and support staff in achieving and maintaining fidelity benchmarks.
Clinical Supervision & Staff Development
- Provide clinical supervision to early childhood mental health staff delivering Child First services.
- Support reflective supervision practices to strengthen staff skills in relationship-based, trauma-informed care.
- Identify training needs and coordinate professional development aligned with Child First and organizational priorities.
Organizational Performance & KPIs
- Track, monitor, and report on organizational KPIs related to Paragons organizational standards and to early childhood programming.
- Use data to drive continuous improvement, strengthen outcomes, and ensure accountability to funders and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify gaps, implement corrective action, and sustain program quality.
Collaboration & Integration
- Work closely with the Child and Family Services Director and broader leadership team to align program delivery with Paragons mission and community needs.
- Partner with community stakeholders, referral sources, and family-serving systems to strengthen engagement and access.
- Represent the Child First program at community and professional meetings, as appropriate.
Qualifications
Required
- Masters degree in social work, counseling, psychology, marriage and family therapy, or related field.
- Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Psychologist, or equivalent advanced licensure in Colorado.
- Formal Child First training strongly preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience working with young children and families, including high-acuity or trauma-exposed populations.
- Experience providing clinical supervision to prelicensed and licensed behavioral health staff.
Preferred
- Harris Fellowship training or other specialized training in early childhood mental health, attachment, or infant/toddler development.
- Prior experience overseeing implementation of an evidence-based practice (EBP) model.
- Familiarity with Medicaid, managed care, and compliance in community-based behavioral health.
- Bilingual (Spanish-speaking) preferred.

Role Details
- Job Type: Part-Time (Hourly) up to 20-25 hours per week.
- Hourly rate:
$43.00-$47.00 per hour. - Direct Reports: Early childhood clinicians providing Child First services.
- Reports To: Director of Child and Family Services
- Work Setting: Combination of office, telehealth, and community-based engagement.
- Travel: Some travel required for community visits, supervision, and fidelity monitoring.
