Position: Service Technician for Padonia Village Apartments - Timonium, MD
Role Overview
As a Service Technician, you will help maintain the physical integrity of this beautiful community with 554 apartment-homes.
Hourly rate + $750.00 per month rent discount for live-on + medical/dental/vision/401k with company match + quarterly bonus + on-call appreciation bonus + paid training + fun events
Most Important Responsibilities
- Work closely with your team members to complete service requests and make-readies in a timely fashion with high quality craftsmanship
- Share your knowledge with coworkers and assist each other when challenges arise
- Go above and beyond the call of duty for residents to provide excellent customer service
- Manage your time wisely and communicate throughout the day
- Anticipate problems that residents might have before they even occur
Most Important Qualifications
- MUST BE A GO-GETTER with a proven track record of stepping up to the plate and taking initiative
- 1+ years of recent hands-on experience in apartment maintenance, preferably on a garden-style community with high standard for customer service
- EPA certification preferred
- Strong plumbing and appliance repair a plus
- Basic exp in drywall, carpentry, HVAC and electrical
- Must be willing to pull call in the emergency rotation
- Vehicle, license, basic tools
- Ability to assess and address problems quickly, good organization skills and strong follow up
