Job DescriptionNOW HIRING: General Labor – Contract to Union (2nd Shift) Weekly Pay: $22.00/hr to start (Raise once hired on)

Location: Shakopee MN

Shift: 2nd Shift — Monday–Thursday, 3:00 PM–1:00 AM

Overtime: Fridays, approx. 2x per month

Type: Contract‑to‑Union (Long‑term opportunity)

Position Overview: We’re looking for a reliable, hands‑on candidate to help build outdoor living products using concrete blocks and other materials in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment. This role involves physical labor, consistent movement, and working with tools and machinery to create high‑quality products.

What You’ll Do

  • Read job specifications to determine required materials
  • Perform visual quality inspections on concrete blocks as they move across the line
  • Use fabrication techniques such as cutting, gluing, grinding, and leveling
  • Utilize a tape measure to make accurate, precise cuts
  • Conduct minor machine maintenance (major repairs handled by on‑site maintenance techs)
  • Move materials throughout the production area with frequent bending, twisting, and lifting

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in landscaping, hardscaping, carpentry, or construction is a plus
  • Comfortable working in a loud, non‑climate‑controlled environment
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs repeatedly and handle concrete products or machine parts
  • Able to lift materials from floor level up to 4 feet
  • Strong basic math skills
  • Proficient with a tape measure and able to read weight scales
  • Able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jordan, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
