Occupational Therapist School-Based (Travel Assignment)
Location: Aurora, CO (Denver Area)
Assignment Dates: August 6, 2026 May 26, 2027
Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday

This school-based Occupational Therapist role offers a travel opportunity supporting students within the Aurora Public Schools district in the Denver area. The position requires providing high-quality OT services to a diverse caseload of school-aged children. Assignments and specific schools will vary throughout the school year, providing flexibility and exposure to different educational environments.

Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized occupational therapy interventions to support students educational goals
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to create effective treatment plans
Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and document student progress in accordance with school policies
Adapt therapeutic techniques for children with varied needs across multiple school settings
Attend relevant meetings and maintain compliance with state and district regulations

Qualifications:
Active Colorado Department of Education (DOE) Certification
Current Colorado Occupational Therapy License
Experience working in school-based settings preferred, but 0-2 years of OT school experience also considered
Strong communication and teamwork skills to engage effectively with educational staff and families
Ability to manage a flexible caseload and varied school assignments

This opportunity offers competitive pay commensurate with experience:
$50-$53/hr for 0-2 years of experience
$53-$56/hr for 3-5 years
$56-$59/hr for 6-9 years
$59-$62/hr for 10+ years
