Summary:
A reputable general contractor with over 30 years of experience is actively seeking a Traveling Commercial Superintendent to oversee construction projects across the Northeast Market, including MI, PA, MA, DE, ME, VT, and NY State. This company is known for its stability, long-term client relationships, and delivery of high-quality Commercial Tenant Improvements (TI), Ground-Up Retail, Grocery, Public Works, and Commercial Renovation projects.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities for commercial and tenant improvement projects.

Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and field personnel to ensure jobsite efficiency.

Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and logistics plans.

Conduct regular jobsite inspections to verify quality workmanship and enforce safety compliance.

Resolve jobsite challenges, conflicts, and unforeseen issues in real time.

Lead all communication with clients, architects, and engineers throughout the project lifecycle.

Ensure timely submission of daily reports, project documentation, and progress updates.

Maintain high-quality standards and deliver projects on time and within budget.
Qualifications
Required Experience:

Minimum of 3+ years of experience as a Superintendent on tenant improvement or commercial construction projects.

Proven ability to manage jobsite operations, schedules, and subcontractor performance.

Strong working knowledge of construction methods, materials, and jobsite logistics.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:

Experience with Commercial TI, Ground-Up Retail, or Public Works construction.

OSHA certification or equivalent safety training preferred.

Proficiency in project management tools and construction software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Office).

Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
