Job Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionateSpecial Education Teachers for the 2026–2027 school year. The ideal candidateswill be committed to supporting students with diverse learning needs andcreating inclusive classroom environments that promote academic and socialsuccess.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide specialized instruction tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment
- Participating in team meetings, professional development, and school initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
- An active South Carolina Department of Education (SCDE) teaching license
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Experience working with students with diverse learning needs preferred
- Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams
