Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for a part-time contract role serving parochial schools within Monroe County, MI. This role offers a flexible schedule of three days per week from February through the end of the school year (EOSY), providing support to students with speech and language challenges in diverse school settings.
Location: Monroe, MI (travel required to various parochial schools within the county)
Employment Type: Part-Time Contract
Schedule: 3 days per week
Duration: February to EOSY
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to students within parochial school environments
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in compliance with school guidelines
- Travel within Monroe County to deliver services across multiple school locations
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
- Candidates with Clinical Fellowship Year status (SLP-CFY) are welcome to apply
- Experience working within school-based settings is highly desirable
- Valid licensure as an SLP in the state
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently in multiple school environments
