Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A speech-language pathologist is needed for an 8-week leave coverage position in a K-12 school located in Detroit, MI. This contract role focuses on providing direct therapy services within an elementary caseload consisting of approximately 43 students. The position requires availability 1-2 days per week to support students' communication goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to elementary students.
- Maintain and manage case notes accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with the onsite speech-language pathologist who will handle evaluations and IEP responsibilities.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working within school settings, preferably elementary caseload.
- Strong skills in providing direct therapy interventions.
- Ability to maintain detailed documentation and work collaboratively in a team environment.
