CT Technician / CT Technologist
Location: Gastonia, NC 28054
Duration: 13 Weeks Contract
Shift: Night Shift – 3x12 Hour Shifts
Hours: 07:00 PM – 07:30 AM | Wednesday, Thursday, Friday | 37.5 Hours/Week
On-Call: 2 times per month
Floating required between Gastonia and Belmont locations as needed
We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a travel contract assignment in a fast-paced acute care imaging department. The role involves performing advanced CT imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, high-quality diagnostic imaging, and adherence to radiation safety standards.
Responsibilities:
• Perform CT imaging procedures and cross-sectional diagnostic studies
• Prepare and position patients appropriately for CT examinations
• Administer contrast media and maintain IV competencies as required
• Operate CT imaging equipment safely and efficiently
• Perform diagnostic radiology duties as needed
• Maintain radiation safety and patient protection standards
• Ensure high-quality imaging studies and accurate patient positioning
• Collaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Maintain accurate imaging documentation and patient records
• Provide excellent patient care utilizing AIDET customer service standards
• Support workflow across multiple imaging locations as needed
• Monitor equipment functionality and report technical issues promptly
Requirements:
• Prior CT Technologist experience required
• Active ARRT Certification with CT Credential required
• R.T.(R)(CT)(ARRT) required
• Strong cross-sectional anatomy knowledge required
• Ability to work independently in hospital imaging environment required
• Excellent communication and patient care skills required
• English proficiency required
Required Certifications:
• ARRT with CT Credential required
• BLS preferred
Preferred:
• Acute care hospital CT imaging experience
• IV competency experience
• Multi-site imaging department experience
