Onboarding Specialist (Contract)
Search Solution Group is partnering with a growing organization in the food & beverage industry to identify an Onboarding Specialist to support a high-volume hiring initiative. This is a short-term, onsite contract role focused on data entry, system accuracy, and ensuring new hires are set up correctly and on time.
This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in HR systems while supporting a fast-paced onboarding process.
Job Details
- Job Type: Direct Hire / Contract
- Duration: Approximately 2–3 months (with potential flexibility)
- Schedule: 40 hours per week
- Pay Rate: $17–$18/hour
- Location: Onsite in Cincinnati, OH
(Possible flexibility for 1 remote day per week later in the assignment) - Start Date: ASAP

Responsibilities
- Enter and maintain new hire information accurately in the HRIS and ATS
- Support onboarding for a large hiring project of 200+ new employees
- Ensure all new hire data, documentation, and system entries are completed correctly and on time
- Assist with onboarding workflows and system setup using Paylocity
- Partner with the HR team and HR Coordinator to manage onboarding volume
- Help relieve administrative workload from the broader HR team
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy with employee records
Requirements
- Prior experience with data entry, onboarding, or HR administrative support preferred
- Comfort working in HR systems; Paylocity experience is a plus (not required)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage repetitive tasks accurately
- Ability to work onsite and meet tight timelines
- Reliable, organized, and able to follow established processes
- Strong communication skills and professionalism
