Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Director of Pharmacy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This opportunity is ideal for a skilled Pharmacy Manager with clinical and hospital pharmacy expertise, ready to lead and manage an outpatient infusion pharmacy. The position is based in Fredericksburg, VA, and offers an 8+ week contract with the potential to transition to a permanent role.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily operations of the outpatient infusion pharmacy.
Staff the pharmacy efficiently, ensuring smooth workflow without the responsibilities of Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC).
Oversee IV compounding and chemotherapy preparation in accordance with safety and quality standards.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize clinical pharmacy services.
Maintain compliance with pharmacy regulations and policies within the hospital setting.

Schedule:

Typical work hours from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Pharmacy operating hours are from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
No weekend or on-call coverage required, supporting a balanced work-life schedule.

Preferred Qualifications:

Active and clear Virginia Pharmacy License.
Strong background in IV compounding and chemotherapy.
Experience with Epic pharmacy software is highly preferred.
Demonstrated leadership and management skills in a clinical or hospital pharmacy environment.
