A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available in Ventura, CA, supporting students in grades 7-12. This contract opportunity will cover a maternity leave from February through April, providing essential services within a school setting. The role involves working onsite with a diverse student population, some requiring speech-only services and others needing comprehensive special education support.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language assessments for students
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans to address speech and communication needs
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Providing direct therapy services to students with a variety of speech and language disorders
- Maintaining accurate documentation and complying with relevant regulations and guidelines
Desired qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with school-aged children (grades 7-12)
- Ability to deliver both speech-only and full special education services
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
