We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to join a dynamic non-profit organization in Baltimore, Maryland. This Contract-to-continuing position offers an exciting opportunity to manage key human resources functions, including recruitment, payroll coordination, benefits administration, and employee relations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in HR systems and processes, along with a proactive approach to addressing employee needs.


Responsibilities:

• Oversee recruitment processes utilizing ADP Workforce Now, including posting job requisitions and managing candidate pipelines.

• Collaborate with payroll staff to coordinate HR-related payroll activities, such as processing payroll summaries.

• Manage employee onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires and departing staff.

• Administer leave management programs and handle related inquiries and documentation.

• Monitor and respond to queries in the HR mailbox, providing timely and accurate support to employees.

• Address unemployment claims and maintain compliance with relevant regulations.

• Provide guidance on employee handbook policies and frequently asked questions.

• Assist with benefit administration, including responding to inquiries and ensuring employees are informed about plan options.

• Generate and analyze HR reports using ADP Reportsmith to support decision-making and compliance.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources, with a focus on recruitment, benefits, and payroll.
• Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now and ADP Reportsmith, with the ability to navigate and generate reports.
• Strong knowledge of HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and their applications.
• Familiarity with benefits administration and payroll coordination processes.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
• Experience handling sensitive employee relations matters with professionalism and discretion.
• Knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to leave management and unemployment.
• A proactive and solutions-oriented mindset, with a commitment to fostering a positive workplace culture.
