Representative I Compensation

  • The pay for this position is $15.12 per hour
  • Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
  • A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Representative I Highlights

  • This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
  • The required availability for this position is onsite, Monday–Friday, full-time
  • Onsite interviews required; remote work may be considered later based on performance but is not guaranteed
  • Public bus access available near site; candidates should confirm schedules

Representative I Responsibilities

  • Respond to telephone inquiries and orders from homecare patients and referral sources
  • Provide information on equipment, supplies, and services; determine the best method for providing services
  • Assist walk-in patients with selection of equipment, supplies, and services
  • Process telephone orders by preparing patient paperwork and verifying insurance or other payment methods
  • Complete paperwork accurately and efficiently for data entry, accounts receivable, and delivery needs
  • Perform data entry and distribute paperwork to appropriate personnel
  • Coordinate delivery, set-up, and pick-up of equipment and supplies with appropriate staff
  • Maintain accurate patient account files and referral source data
  • Resolve patient complaints by identifying problems and coordinating corrective action

Representative I Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Strong customer service and computer skills
  • Comfortable with call monitoring and performance tracking
  • Attendance is mandatory for the first 6–8 weeks (no pre-scheduled PTO allowed)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party vendors
  • Experience verifying insurance coverage for new and existing clients
  • Familiarity with insurance concepts (drug cards, major medical benefits, per diem coverage)
  • Knowledge of government and patient assistance programs
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills
