Senior Reservoir Engineer
Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid Schedule)
Compensation: $175,000 – $225,000 (DOE) + Bonus
Join a leading Oil & Gas company as a Senior Reservoir Engineer in Houston, TX. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to work on reservoir management, field development planning, and production optimization across major U.S. basins.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct reservoir characterization, modeling, and simulation to optimize recovery.
- Perform production forecasting, decline curve analysis, and economic evaluations.
- Collaborate with geoscience, drilling, and operations teams to maximize asset value.
- Support reserves estimation, reporting, and acquisition evaluations.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in Oil & Gas reservoir engineering.
- Hands-on experience in U.S. basins (Permian, Eagle Ford, Bakken, etc.).
- Proficiency in reservoir simulation software (e.g., CMG, Eclipse, Petrel).
- Strong knowledge of production optimization, well performance analysis, and field development strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field.
Preferred Technical Skills:
- Aries, PHDWin, Spotfire, Power BI, Petrel, OFM, Microsoft Excel, Python, MATLAB
