A telepractice opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide remote speech therapy services to students in an educational setting. This fully remote contract role offers the flexibility to work from any location, supporting students via teletherapy sessions.
Key responsibilities include delivering comprehensive speech and language assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and conducting therapy sessions through a virtual platform. The platform is equipped with a variety of interactive learning materials and assessment tools to enhance therapeutic outcomes. Effective use of telecommunication tools such as Zoom Pro for engaging and productive sessions is essential. Collaboration with clinical and technical support teams ensures seamless service delivery and problem resolution.
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist licensure and credentials.
- Experience in school-based speech therapy, with knowledge of pediatric speech and language disorders.
- Proficiency in telepractice technologies and platforms.
- Ability to conduct thorough assessments and design targeted interventions remotely.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with interactive digital resources used in speech-language therapy.
Location: This position is fully remote, with licensing requirements applicable to practice in Iowa.
