  • Prepare and update fabrication drawings, CAD models, and blueprints for mechanical and structural components.
  • Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and design standards to produce accurate drafting documents.
  • Coordinate with engineers and other team members to ensure designs meet technical, structural, and project constraints.
  • Revise and maintain drawing sets throughout the project lifecycle to reflect design changes and field feedback.
  • Ensure all drafting work adheres to established company standards, codes, and best practices.
  • Support project documentation by organizing and managing drawing files and related design records.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Design, Drafting, or a related field.
  • Willingness to consider entry-level candidates with strong drafting and design aptitude.
  • Experience working with mechanical and structural components in an industrial or facility setting.
  • Familiarity with general CAD tools and drafting standards.
  • Interest in growing within mechanical design and taking on increasing responsibility over time.
  • Motivation to contribute to a large, high-impact engineering project.

Work Environment

You will work primarily in a modern cubicle office setting, collaborating closely with engineers and designers. The role includes occasional time on the facility floor to review layouts and understand real-world conditions for the filtration systems. The environment is project-driven and growth-oriented, offering exposure to a significant, high-visibility project and opportunities for professional development. Standard office attire is appropriate, with any additional safety gear provided as needed when visiting the floor.
