Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for a leave coverage role within an elementary school setting in Clermont, FL. This contract opportunity requires 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with onsite presence necessary. The assignment will run from March 2026 through the end of May 2026.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Florida Department of Health licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Experience working with pediatric populations in school environments, particularly at the elementary level
- Familiarity with communication devices and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) tools is preferred
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and provide therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Utilize communication devices and technology to support effective therapy outcomes
- Document progress and maintain compliance with federal and state regulations
